Sanctuary Tour with the Founder

Your experience includes:

✨ 1.5 hours with Billy by your side – starting off at our café, where you’ll hear first-hand about his remarkable journey rescuing animals from a very young age and learn more about his books.

🐾 Meet our newest rescued residents up close – enjoy personal interactions and plenty of photo opportunities with some of the animals who now call The Retreat home.

❤️ Discover their rescue stories – hear how they arrived here and the lives they now enjoy thanks to your support.

🍽️ Reserved lunch table – your tour finishes in time for lunch at the café where our licksmacking menu contains all your favourites and daily homemade specials (food and drinks not included). Full table service so no queueing.

🛍️ Browse our shops – explore the thrift shop, merchandise shop and Jennings Pantry.

🦺 Exclusive priority access – after the tour, you’ll receive a high-vis vest allowing you to return to selected animal areas without your host and spend even more time with the residents you fell in love with at your own pace.

Whether you’re an animal lover, supporter of rescue work, or simply looking for a unique day out, this is your chance to experience The Retreat like never before.

Billy has inspired many tour guests to do more for animals even helping some to start their own rescue project.
